UiTM visits To AAT

A Visit Tour from Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM), Faculty of Electrical Engineering

The Air Traffic Control System in Malaysia is still receiving the technology of transfer venturing together with a foreign company. In view of this, a group of professors from Faculty of Electrical Engineering has made a visit to our KLIA site radar and Kuala Lumpur Air Traffic Control Centre located in Subang.

The UiTM visit was led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Habibah Hashim, Deputy Dean (Research and Industrial Networking). This visit initiated is to explore the possibility of closer collaboration between AAT and UiTM in the future technology studies and research. During the visit, we have presented on the overall function of Air Traffic Control System in Malaysia. It is a very good bilateral relations and responses where they have exchanged ideas on all issues concerned. The preliminary research collaboration is to explore further on future growth of air traffic systems technology in Malaysia and any possibility to be a standalone to carry out certain technology independently. We do hope we will achieve a good explore research cooperation together and future renewable technologies. AAT is actively encouraging all students and academicians of local universities to undergo internships in the civil aviation technology with our company.
